Colombia and south Africa are similar in some things like a high score in the dimension of Power Distance Index, it means that people accept social inequality, also, these countries share a high score in the dimension of Masculinity vs Femininity, that means success and achievement are important for people. Similarly, they have a high indulgence, it means it is okay to see gratification and pleasure, they exhibit a willingness to realize their impulses and desires with regard to enjoying life and having fun. They possess a positive attitude and have a tendency towards optimism. In addition, they place a higher degree of importance on leisure time, act as they please and spend money as they wish.

On the other hand, Colombia is not an individualistic society, that is Colombians are a highly collectivist people, different from the South African people that have a preference for a loosely-knit social framework in which individuals are expected to take care of themselves and their immediate families only.
